The Rt Rev (Victor)[1]Richard Ellena (b 10 September 1941) is the current Anglican Bishop of Nelson.[2]
He was educated at the University of Auckland after which he worked as a teacher until studying for the Priesthood. He was ordained in 1985 and has held incumbencies at Kensington-Otipua,[3] Blenheim and Marlborough- where he was also the area's Archdeacon.[4]
